Built as part of a Harvard Law School course on AI governance taught by Jonathan Zittrain, examining the three perspectives shaping the AI policy debate: Accelerationists, Safetyists, and Skeptics.
View TrackerI recently completed my Master in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. For my capstone, I worked with Mila (Quebec's AI institute) to propose an early warning and response system that would track and respond to early signs of AI-driven job loss in Canada.
I'm currently at the Centre for the Governance of AI in London as a Summer Fellow, continuing this research. I grew up in Vancouver, studied business and psychology at UBC, and spent three years at PwC Canada. A significant portion of my time there went to advising Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as part of the Benefits Delivery Modernization (BDM) programme. I also ran Responsible AI workshops for Canada's major banks in partnership with the Vector Institute.
I want to make sure people can contribute meaningfully to society, think critically, and have a real say in how we are governed as AI reshapes our lives. This podcast is where I work through that with researchers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs who are closest to the answers.
